Day 1 | Arrive Bagdogra – Phuentsholing
Upon arrival at Bagdogra Airport, receive a warm welcome from your Bhutan Escapes Journeys executive before setting off on a scenic drive towards the Indo-Bhutan border, where your unforgettable Bhutan adventure begins.
After completing immigration formalities, enter Bhutan through Phuentsholing, the kingdom's principal gateway town. Depending on your arrival time, visit the peaceful Zangto Pelri Lhakhang or enjoy a leisurely stroll through the town.

Day 2 | Phuentsholing to Thimphu
After breakfast, embark on a scenic drive through lush forests, winding mountain roads, waterfalls, and picturesque valleys as you ascend towards Bhutan's capital city.
Upon arrival, visit the revered Memorial Chorten and spend the evening exploring local markets, handicraft boutiques, and charming cafés.

Day 3 | Exploring the Cultural Treasures of Thimphu
Today is dedicated to discovering Bhutan's vibrant capital and its cultural heritage.
Visit the magnificent Buddha Dordenma, one of the world's largest seated Buddha statues, overlooking the valley below. Continue to the Traditional Arts School, where Bhutan's artistic traditions continue to flourish.
Explore the Folk Heritage Museum, visit the impressive Tashichho Dzong, and stop at the Motithang Takin Preserve, home to Bhutan's unique national animal.

Day 4 | Thimphu to Punakha via Dochula Pass
Following breakfast, depart for Punakha, crossing the spectacular Dochula Pass (3,100 meters), home to the famous 108 memorial chortens and magnificent Himalayan views.
Descending into the fertile Punakha Valley, visit Chimi Lhakhang before exploring the magnificent Punakha Dzong, beautifully situated at the confluence of the Pho Chhu and Mo Chhu rivers.
Later, enjoy a walk across the iconic Punakha Suspension Bridge, offering stunning views of the valley and surrounding countryside.

Day 5 | Punakha to Gangtey (Phobjikha Valley) – Into the Phobjikha Valley
Begin the day with a visit to the beautiful Khamsum Yulley Namgyal Chorten, reached via a scenic walk through terraced rice fields and traditional countryside.
Thereafter, continue towards Gangtey (The spectacular Phobjikha Valley), one of Bhutan's most beautiful glacial valleys. Upon arrival, visit the historic Gangtey Monastery, dramatically positioned above the valley floor and offering panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.
In the evening, enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of this pristine Himalayan valley.

Day 6 | Gangtey Nature Trail – Transfer to Paro
