Refund Policy

Cancellation & Refund Policy

At Bhutan Escapes Journeys, significant advance payments are made to hotels, transport providers, guides, airlines, and permit authorities. Therefore, the following cancellation and refund policy applies.

1. Cancellation Requests

All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email.

The effective cancellation date shall be the date on which the written notice is received by Bhutan Escapes Journeys.

2. Land Package Cancellation Charges

• More than 45 days before arrival: Full refund less bank charges and processing fees.
• 31–45 days before arrival: 25% cancellation charge.
• 16–30 days before arrival: 50% cancellation charge.
• 08–15 days before arrival: 75% cancellation charge.
• 07 days or less before arrival: 100% cancellation charge.

3. Flight Cancellation

Air tickets are subject to the cancellation and refund policies of the respective airlines. Airline cancellation charges shall apply in addition to the above cancellation charges.

4. Luxury Hotels

Luxury hotels including, but not limited to, Six Senses, Aman, COMO, and &Beyond may have separate cancellation policies. Any additional cancellation charges imposed by these properties shall also apply.

5. No Show

No refunds will be provided for:

• No-show guests.
• Unused hotel nights.
• Missed meals.
• Missed sightseeing.
• Early departure from the tour.

6. Force Majeure

No refunds shall be payable for delays, interruptions, or cancellations caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including:

• Natural disasters.
• Landslides.
• Road closures.
• Flight cancellations.
• Weather conditions.
• Government restrictions.
• Political unrest.
• Public health emergencies.

However, Bhutan Escapes Journeys will make reasonable efforts to provide alternative travel arrangements wherever possible.

7. Refund Processing

Approved refunds will normally be processed within 15 business days after receiving all required documentation and subject to the policies of our service providers.
